Undergraduate Thesis: A Scoping Review of Greenwashing

I conducted a scoping review of greenwashing for my undergraduate honors thesis. My research process lasted about two years in which I carefully crafted my methodology, conducted searches, screened literature, coded using NVivo software, wrote up the written report, edited, and ultimately defended it in an oral presentation. I am extremely grateful for the support of my advisors Alex Segre Cohen, Hollie Smith, and Nicole Dahmen at the University of Oregon who each contributed to the success of my research. Inspired by my father at an early age, climate change has always been something I’ve felt passionate about. This research illuminated many gaps in the literature, particularly the lack of proposed solutions to greenwashing. I am eager to apply my studies to my future career, aiming to work in the field of sustainability.
