NSAC AT&T Campaign

For the 2024-25 academic year, I served as a media planner for the University of Oregon’s Advertising Team. Tasked with increasing brand love within Gen Z, the media planning team and I spent over nine months researching our audience, researching placements, brainstorming ideas, and ultimately creating a comprehensive media plan. We got to work directly with our client, AT&T, and presented our campaign to four judges at the American Advertising Federation’s National Student Advertising Competition in Bend, Oregon in April 2025. Our team is proud we got to bring home a first-place trophy from the district competition in April. In May, we competed in the semi-finals, ranking twelfth in the country of the over 150 colleges and universities competing. Through this experience, I learned how to use MRI Simmons, how to do “media math” for the budget, how to better narrow down ideas, collaborated with teammates, and got to meet many career professionals.
